is a sympathomimetic amine, which is similar to an amphetamine, meaning

1,3 - Dimethyl-pentylamine-hydrochloride and
1,3,7 - Trimethylxanthine.
How To Take This Medication:
Recommended dosage is one capsule with 8 ounces of water 20 minutes
before breakfast and one capsule with 8 ounces of water 20 minutes
before lunch or in the early afternoon. It is recommended that
PHENTRAMIN-d™ be used in conjunction with proper nutrition habits
and an exercise program. Do not increase your dose or take it more
frequently than recommended.
Side Effects:
The main effects of PHENTRAMIN-d™ are weight loss and increased energy.
However, some people may experience side effects such as dry mouth,
sleeplessness or irritability. These side effects are usually short term

Precautions:

Drug Interactions:

especially if you take high blood pressure medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone,
phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other weight loss medicine. Decongestants
are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.
